POLICY ADVANTAGES OF INVESTING IN YANDU

  • As a “Seashore Open Zone”, the tax rate is only 24%, and there are business income tax waivers (100% waiver for the first 2 years, and 50% waiver for the next 3 years, and other favourable treatments).
  • For normal projects, there is a 100% income tax waiver for the first 2 years, and 50% waiver for the next 5 years (Waiver meaning, tax levied for local government will be returned).
  • For hi-tech projects, there is a 100% income tax waiver for the first 2 years, and 50% waiver for the next 8 years (Waiver meaning, tax levied for local government will be returned).
  • All lands are levelled as well as road and utility ready.  For projects with a lump-sum investment of more than RMB50,000,000, investors can use the land for free for 50 years.
  • 70% of the Value-Added Tax (VAT) levied or the local government will be returned for the first 3 years, and 20% will be returned for the next 2 years.
    No construction tax is charged for manufacturing projects.
